The Stuffed Animals at Germaine Lawrence School
By a Group of Students at Germaine Lawrence
Teddies
Fluffy, big, and cute
Small, large, and hugeBlack, red, and brown
Some old, some rough
Some white, some colorful
Bears, rabbits, dogs, monkeys
A turtle and kangaroo
Scooby-do!
These are the stuffed animals
at the Germaine Lawrence School
Gentle, smooth, and cuddlyHairy, curly, and furry
They know when you are sick,
sad
scared
mad!
They know your secrets
and what you’ve been through
They know all about your past
They know that you love them
And what do they say –
these stuffed animals
at the Germaine Lawrence School
Go ahead
It’s okay
It’s good to cry
Squeeze me
I love you, too
Now turn out the light
Sweet dreams
Good night

Click on the titles to these poems and they'll magically appear on the other side of the page. Enjoy!
